| Trainer Overview:
| Dr. Osama Mohammed Tahoun A certified environmental trainer, expert, and consultant. Throughout his academic career, he has contributed to publishing numerous scientific papers in internationally peer-reviewed journals. He currently serves as an Associate Professor at the National Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries (NIOF) in Egypt, and as a trainer in the Environment and Sustainability Department at the Water Academy in Jubail. He holds Ph.D. in Science (Environmental Science – Aquatic Microbiology) from Al-Azhar University, 2016 master’s degree in science, 2010. He has over 23 years of professional experience in environmental consultancy, inspection, and training. His career combines academic expertise with field regulatory experience. He previously worked as an environmental researcher at the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA), where he conducted field environmental inspections, collected samples (air, water, soil), performed laboratory analyses, and prepared Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies for major projects. The trainer is distinguished by his extensive practical experience as a certified environmental consultant with both the Egyptian Ministry of Environment and the Scientific Professions Syndicate. He has also contributed to designing and delivering various training programs in the fields of environment and sustainability, and has played an active role in developing training plans and curricula for professional diplomas in the environmental field. |
