About the Academy

Based on its awareness of the importance of training and developing its human resources, the Saline Water Conversion Corporation in 1982 established and established a training center for the Corporation’s employees in both Jubail and Jeddah. Since then, the Corporation’s training process began and the development of its resources keeps pace with the latest training methods, systems and methodologies in the field of the desalination industry. Giving and growth in this aspect continued for decades, amounting to 40 years - by the grace of God - with qualitative outcomes attested to by the labor market in the institution and outside it in the public and private sectors.​

In 2010-2011, the center began providing training services to employees of other sectors from outside the institution after the approval of the Board of Directors of the institution on the investment operation of the center, within the framework of the commercial transformation project for the work of the center, as it attracted many customers in the public and private sectors, from inside and outside the Kingdom, thus opening wider horizons of training, upgrading training services, spreading globally and disseminating knowledge according to an ambitious vision aimed at enhancing the sustainability of water production, and the Academy aspires to provide an integrated educational and training experience, according to methodologies And modern learning technologies, which are compatible with the current targets, requirements and training needs of the labor market with the aim of upgrading and caring for the human resource and preparing it for the labor market as one of the most important goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
