Course equips personnel in water treatment,
desalination, wastewater, networks, laboratories, operations, maintenance,
and projects to apply an environmental management system in line with ISO
14001:2026. The course links the standard's management-system requirements to
water-sector environmental conditions and impacts, including treated-effluent
and brine discharge, sludge and waste, chemicals and fuels, energy and
resource use, emissions and Oduor, climate-related risks, biodiversity, and
ecosystem health. Participants will learn to identify significant aspects,
manage compliance obligations and risks, establish measurable objectives and
operational controls, prepare for environmental emergencies, evaluate
performance, conduct internal audits, support management review, and develop
an implementation or transition roadmap.
