Overview

Course provides an applied understanding of membrane technologies used in water treatment and desalination. It covers membrane processes and configurations, system components, pretreatment requirements, fouling and scaling, and the operation and performance monitoring of membrane systems. By the end of the course, participants will be able to distinguish between MF, UF, NF, and RO; identify key system components and pretreatment needs; explain common fouling and scaling mechanisms; and interpret essential operating indicators
